How to change to On-Call Mode

On-call mode allows a manager to use ShiftShark to fill and create shifts in departments using employees across the entire organization regardless of the manager's normal departmental access. It is intended for managers doing on-call scheduling duties. To have access to the On-call user mode it must be activated for you by your system admin.

Mobile (Desktop below)

From the homepage, touch the icon of an employee in the top right corner* of the screen. This will open the User Mode menu. 

Touch the button titled On-call to change your mode from standard to On-call. You can also change from On-call back to Standard by touching the Standard button. 

*If you cannot see this icon it means you are not activated for On-call mode. Contact your system admin at your organization. 

 

Desktop 

If you have access to On-call mode the homepage will show a User Mode Menu* on the right side of the screen automatically. 

Click the button titled On-call to change your mode from standard to On-call. You can also change from On-call back to Standard by clicking the Standard button.
