The total hours on the summary for an employee are greater than their worked hours!
Say you know that an employee in this case let's say Andrew Jenson, for sure has not worked 64 hours but the summary says otherwise. What gives?
1. To find out what's going on let go ahead and click the number under Total Hours in Allison's row.
2. Now the chart will show all of Andrew's shifts so we can see what's going on. We can see pretty quickly that he actually was sick for a couple shifts this week. While he isn't paid for this time the system still records that he took the sick time.
This brings up an important point about Time Approval and the summary. The Time Approval Summary tells you that an employee has had shifts for a certain number of hours not whether they were paid or unpaid (Like sick or no-show).
