What's a Filter?

When you are viewing a lot of data on either an input page or let's say in Time Approval, filters are things you can use to see a more specific set of data. Perhaps an example will clarify. 

 

When you're in Time Approval and you only want to see a specific week you use the date filter to only see the data from that week. 

 

Or maybe you only want to see a specific employee in Time Approval, you can use the Time Approval Slider to filter by a specific employee.

 

Basically filters reduce the number of things you see in a way specified by you.
